Andy Hobsbawm gave a talk about doing the green thing. He spoke for 3 minutes and 5 seconds. How can you possibly say anything relevant in 3 minutes and 5 seconds? What’s more, out of the given 3 minutes and 5 seconds, he spent most of it talking about something else: creativity. He showed creative pictures about how creativity makes us see regular things in in a new light.
Only for some mere dozens of seconds did he actually talk about doing the green thing and he urged us to get creative about it. And, it worked brilliantly.
But, look at me: I already spent more than 3 minutes and 5 seconds worth of words talking about a 3 minutes and 5 seconds talk. I better stop. Instead, I kindly ask you to watch the talk, do the green thing and reconsider your perception of what can be done in a 3 minutes and 5 seconds talk.
